Baby Dress from Hell (aka: who knew crocheting would be the thing to put me over the edge)

I intended this for Sara but it turns out that (a) the way the pattern is written is SO confusing to me and (b) it looks way too small for her. After MUCH anxiety and emailing with both the designer of the dress (found HERE) and someone at Crochetville, I could finally move past the bib of the dress and onto the body and skirt. I decided to change colors too, just for kicks, but you can't see it well in the pics. The top is bubblegum pink and the bottom color is plum. It's going to be really cute, but now I have to find a baby for it!

I used an H hook and Red Heart Soft Yarn.

You have incredible patience Whitney. Good for you! I can see the dress ends up being much smaller than a size 18!

I tried this pattern months ago and sadly gave up. I also couldn't get past the bib. I didn't understand the part where you're to pull forward a stitch and stitch behind it. I wish I could understand it but I searched everywhere for help an came up empty handed. I FEEL your pain because the dress for me was a pain...lol I guess you're more tenacious than me which is amazing because I thought I was the most persistent person on the planet.

BTW, you did an amazing job! It looks like something you'd purchase at an expensive store. You are incredibly talented. I wish I could crochet like you, the dress looks absolutely perfect.
